Forum Keli – Mattanoor Melam

The legendary Mattanur Sankarankutty Marar and team mesmerized the audience with an electrifying Melam performance at Forum Kochi. Held at the Courtyard, the rhythmic beats of drums created an immersive cultural experience, celebrating Kerala’s rich musical heritage. Visitors joined in the festive spirit, making it a highlight of the Onam celebrations. Padma Shri awardee Mattannoor Sankaran Kutty Marar and his team brought the grandeur of Kerala’s biggest festival, Thrissur Pooram, to life with their performance at Forum Kochi’s courtyard. For the first time, the team performed outside a traditional cultural venue, creating a remarkable experience for both the artists and the audience.
