In the auditions 10 participants from each category will be selected and they will compete for the top 3 spots in Grand Finale.

Top 3 winners in each category will be awarded “Just Dance” Trophies and Gift Vouchers.

  1. What is the last date to submit the entries?
    24-May-19.
  2. What are the categories of Forum Just Dance?
    • Category 1: Solo Dance – Age group 10 – 15 years.
    • Category 2: Solo Dance – Age group 16 years & above.
    • Category 3: Group Dance – Maximum of 8 Members.
  3. What is the Entry Fee for the event?
    The competition is free of cost for all contestants.
  4. How can I register for the event?
    Entry strictly by registration only. To register online visit Registration on this page, or visit www.eventshigh.com or register at the helpdesk/information desk at participating Forum Malls.
  5. Can I register on the day of the event?
    For preliminary rounds on spot registration can be entertained if the slots are available.
  6. What are the timings of event?
    Auditions – 3 PM onwards, reporting at 2 PM
    Grand Finale – 5 PM onwards, reporting at 4 PM
  7. Can I transfer my registration?
    Transfer of registrations will not be accepted.
  8. Can I participate with somebody else’s registration details?
    No. All participants will have to reconfirm their registration details at the time of the event. Proof of date of birth to be submitted while registering for the competition.
  9. Can I fill a single application form on behalf of all the members of the group participating in the event?
    Yes
  10. On what grounds can my entry be rejected or declared invalid?
    • Your entry can be rejected on any of the grounds listed below.
    1. Incomplete form submitted.
    2. More than one application received from the same applicant.
    3. On denial of receipt for registered entry.
    4. Competing places are full.
    5. Any other relevant reason deemed by the management.
  11. What are the criteria for judging?
    Expression, Costume, Song selection and Use of Space.
  12. How much time do you allot for us for performance?
    Maximum 2 minutes for preliminary rounds and maximum 4-5 minutes for grand finale.
  13. I am only few months over aged can I participate in the event?
    No, contestants only between the age of 10 – 15 & 16 & above will be able to participate in their respective categories. In case the solo contestant is aged between 15-16 years, he/she will be considered in category 2.
  14. Can my parents/siblings/dance teacher assist me during the event?
    No, the event is structured to showcase individual talent and any form of assistance from others will lead to disqualification.
  15. Should I carry my registration receipt at the start of the event?
    Yes. All participants will have to reconfirm their registration details at the time of the event. Proof of date of birth to be submitted while registering for the competition.
  16. Can I appeal the decision by the judges?
    All decisions made by the Judges at their discretion will be deemed final.
  17. What type of choreography is required in the competition?
    You can perform on any song of your choice.
  18. What are the prizes for the winners?
    Winners & Runner Ups will get Gift Vouchers worth as Mentioned in Prizes.
  19. What is the qualification/eligibility required for the participation?
    There is no qualification or special training needed.

 

Terms and Conditions  
  1. Only applicants registered and listed on the registration form will be admitted on stage.
  2. All applicants agree to have their name, performance, and/or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without compensation or rights to royalties for such use.
  3. On the day of performance, applicants must be dressed in clothing free from obscenities. This is a family oriented event and therefore only activities suitable for families will be permitted.
  4. Performance, song selection and lyrics of performance songs should not contain any obscenities.
  5. Judges can deduct points for use of any obscenities.
  6. The entire performance must be violence-free and suitable for families.
  7. If a performance incites moshing or any other sort of violence in the crowd, the same will be immediately disqualified and the performance will be stopped.
  8. The use of any illegal substances will not be tolerated. If any participant/ member is suspected to be under the influence of an illegal substance, the entire performance will be disqualified and the proper authorities will be notified. In addition, any participant under the age of 21 who is suspected of alcohol use will also be grounds for disqualification.
  9. All applicants are required to be present as per the reporting time allocated, prior to performance time to check in with the coordinator. For group performance, if all members are not present, the group will be disqualified.
  10. All participants are required to be courteous and respectful toward other participants.
  11. All participants must bring their music in a pen drive in mp3 format.
  12. Participants exceeding allotted time limit may be disqualified.
  13. There is no entry fee. All parts of the registration process must be completed in order for applicants to be eligible to compete in the Forum Just Dance competition.
  14. The categories for Forum Just Dance are:
    1. Category 1: Solo Dance – Age group 10 – 15 years.
    2. Category 2: Solo Dance – Age group 16 years & above.
    3. Category 3: Group Dance – Maximum of 8 Members.
  15. For Group Category, details of all the group members have to be filled in during the registration.
  16. All members must sign that they have read and understood the rules and guidelines and terms and conditions pertaining to the event.
  17. All participants must provide proof of date of birth while registering for the competition and during the prelims. Contestants only between the age of 10 to 15 years and 16 years & above are eligible to participate in their respective categories. In case the solo contestant is aged between 15-16 years, he/she will be considered in category 2.
  18. Registrants will receive a confirmation email or phone call when their registration is completed.
  19. Forum Just Dance Schedule Important Dates
  20. Exchange of registration will not be accepted under any circumstances and once registered the registration is not transferable.
  21. Latecomers cannot be admitted until a suitable break during the performances.
