An event for budding entrepreneurs- Start Up Social
Start Up Social is an opportunity for every entrepreneur in the making to learn more about the business world. The event is focussed on showing an insight or shedding light onto the business world, by sharing experiences and ideas.
The first edition of Start Up Social is happening at Forum Vijaya Mall, in partnership with INK talks.
Budding entrepreneurs get a chance to interact with the speakers as they share the journey to success and the obstacles they have overcome.

He is an Iranian-American entrepreneur who is the chairman and co-founder of Global Catalyst Partners, an international, multistage, technology-oriented venture capital firm. He brings with his experiences from all over the world on to the platform of Start Up Social.
Babar Ali’s accomplishments and experience exceed his age.
He was named the ‘youngest headmaster in the world’ by BBC in October 2009, at the age of 16. He started a school, Ananada Siksha Niketan, in his backyard when he was 9-years-old, now with 300 regular students. In 2009, Babar Ali was awarded the NDTV ‘Indian of the Year’ award. He is a TED Fellow, INK Fellow, Forbes 30 Under 30, WIRED Fellow and was also featured on Satyamev Jayate.
Lakshmi Pratury is a business leader, entrepreneur, curator, speaker and former venture capitalist. Her innovative personality has led her to become the CEO of INK. INK is known for impact-oriented programs and conferences from around the world. Lakshmi’s insights into the business world will help in grasping a better understanding of it.
An entrepreneur by profession and an environmentalist by passion- Dr Anusha Ravi is the CEO of Park Group of Institutions. She is a pioneer in education and runs the Park trust, a charitable trust providing education to nearly 20,000 students.
Anusha was one of the distinguished speakers at TEDx Tirupur 2011. She dreams of achieving a green and happy surrounding. Being an entrepreneur, Anusha understands the importance of money but at the same time, she wishes to achieve her goals of environmental protection.
