A step to impact lives — Forum Purple Run 2019
The dawn of 15th September this year marked the beginning of change. Thousands of people gathered at Forum Sujana Mall, Hyderabad to spark a conversation around Alzheimer’s — a form of dementia affecting 4 million people in India.
This World Alzheimer’s Month, we at Forum Hyderabad organised Forum Purple Run 2019, an initiative to end the stigma and change the narrative surrounding the issue. The run was flagged off by Dr. Chandrasekhar, VP ARDSI, and our participants hit the road with the zeal to bring about meaningful change!

We started off with a vision to create awareness around Alzheimer’s, while also encouraging a healthier lifestyle. And today, we’re proud to say that we’ve achieved the goal that we’ve envisioned for ourselves, thanks to the 1700+ participants who volunteered to sow the seeds of change.
To all those who’ve pushed themselves to complete the 5 KM stretch — thank you for supporting us. We’ve donated your contributions to NIMHANS, that will, in turn, be used to help those living with Alzheimer’s.
We hope to see you all the Forum Purple Run 2020!
